Kennels

Normandale kennels

Our kennels are larger than average, giving your dog more room to relax and move around. Each one has a covered run attached so your dog will be able to stay warm and dry, even when the weather is bad.

We really want your pet to feel part of our family whilst he or she is with us.

Every kennel has its own treat pot hanging on the door, which is always full of treats, whether you bring in your own or not. Toys and playthings galore are supplied by us and if your pet chooses a particular favourite, she is allowed to take it home with her.

If your pet's with us for Christmas, she will receive a Christmas stocking and if your pet is in on her birthday, tell us and she will have a birthday present to take home.

We have cooling mats, cold air blowers and paddling pools to keep your pets cool in hot weather. More ...

Normandale kennels

While they're staying with us, we will look after your pets as if they were our own.

We make their stay comfortable and enjoyable, by adding those little touches that matter.

In our kitchen, we can offer fresh meat from our local butcher, as an optional extra. This includes beef, heart, liver, lamb, kidney etc. We are happy to serve raw meals to dogs used to a natural diet, or we will cook for your dog. We serve the meat with vegetables if required. All meat is human quality. Just ask for this service when you book your dog in.

All dogs are insured while staying with us, to cover vets' bills, for example.  Full details are available on request.

Please note that all dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and must be inoculated against kennel cough. Bring your vaccination cards with you when you book in.

Our day care service

Dog with tunnel Dog with ball

Day care is available for dogs and cats, for a small charge per animal, regardless of size or breed.

Maybe you work full-time Monday to Friday, and you don't want your pet to be left alone all day. Perhaps you're off to a wedding, shopping or other event that takes you away from home all day. Or has your pet never been away from home before and you want to introduce him to the kennels gently?

We will look after your pet - just phone and let us know you're coming.

Here are our day care rates:

  • Morning (9am to 1pm) : £10.00
  • Afternoon (1am to 6pm) : £10.00
  • Early start (7.30am to 6pm) : £18.00

Important notes:

  • These are rates for a single day. If your pet stays overnight, we shall have to charge a boarding rate. Please ask for details, as overnight rates vary from breed to breed.
  • Dogs must be fully vaccinated and have had a kennel cough preventative in order to stay for the day.

Have fun in our swimming pool!

Our swimming pool is open and we'd love to see you there!

You can book a 30-minute fun session (20 minutes in the pool and 10 minutes drying) for £20.

We'll need to see a letter from your vet, confirming that your dog is fit to swim, and please note that the session is purely for fun - we can't offer physical therapy.

Call Terry (07984 429842) or Pat (07976 324757) to arrange a date.

Dog in ball bath

While the dogs are enjoying their stay here, we like to treat them as if they were our own.

Our latest addition for playtime is our ball bath. The dogs love it and really enjoy the chance to climb in and have fun.

Small dog in tunnel

And the little ones won't miss out on some fun, either. We've created a new play area specifically for small dogs.
